Dr. Robert Molato

Dr. Molato is a US Marine Corp and Air Force veteran. After his service in the military, he would earn his B.S. in Exercise Science from Seattle University. Dr. Molato went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California with a goal to gain more knowledge and experience to help patients and improve their quality of life.

Helping Patients in Need

“It’s inspiring, when you see patients who come to the college clinic in pain, and the next visit to clinic, they’re feeling better and gradually improving. One patient I worked with was underserved and struggling, needing pain pills to manage his symptoms. He was able to ration his pain medication supply by supplementing it with chiropractic visits; if he didn’t come to the clinic, his pain was too great to handle without medication.

Dr. Molato enjoys helping patients of all walks of life, and hopes to provide restorative care, improving independence and assisting patients in living their best life. Beyond chiropractic as a pain relief strategy, he hopes to also share his whole-body care focus of wellness through the powerful preventative benefits of hands-on care.

Creating a Home for Patients

Dr. Molato prioritizes flexible and individualize care. “It’s an honor to be trusted to care for my patients, and hope it instills confidence that I am here to help! To care for patients, I listen and observe to apply more personalized treatments.” His aim is restorative wellness. “One patient I had the pleasure of working with was an elderly woman who was experiencing numbness and tingling down her arms and legs. That very first day, she could barely walk. After several visits, she was able to go to the gym and started working out again. Ever since, she’s been taking a proactive approach to her wellness and that helps her continue to thrive.” Dr. Molato would like for “patients to find hope and comfort with our care because we genuinely want to help them and listen to their needs.”

Outside of the Practice

When Dr. Molato isn’t spending time caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife Brenna and their two loveable rescue dogs, Ducci and Harry. The couple loves to enjoy the outdoors and highly regards the Pacific Northwest for all the outdoor recreational opportunities it has to offer. They enjoy exploring together and discovering new adventures, including trying unique hobbies such as seafood foraging (and cooking razor clam chowder!). Learning how to mushroom forage is also on their list.

Dr. Brenna Molato

With me, patients should never feel judged. Instead, I want to create a safe place to discuss any and all health concerns.” Dr. Brenna

Dr. Brenna brings a missing piece to the Aligned Health PC team that might just help you understand your very own health puzzle.

With a diverse background as a Pharmacist, Dr. Brenna works with patients taking daily medications to help uncover whether or not their prescriptions are working together in the best way. If you’re experiencing unwelcome symptoms, Dr. Brenna can help identify potential causes with our Medication Review Service. She believes that patients deserve a judgement-free zone to ask questions and learn about their medications while understanding other options that could help them improve their quality of life and wellness.

At the end of the day, Dr. Brenna’s main goal is to empower patients to make better health choices for themselves.

Education and Training

Dr. Brenna attended and graduated from the University of Washington with a Doctorate of Pharmacy after earning her Bachelors of Science, majoring in Biology. During her training, she had the chance to meet and work with patients of all walks of life, which helped shape how she practices today. Dr. Brenna completed 9 different clinical rotations in school, and was able to gain an incredible knowledge while being exposed to a variety of clinic settings and interdisciplinary teams. She enjoyed opportunities like working with children at a diabetes education camp, compounding custom medications in community pharmacy, and serving the unique needs of her patients. Her experience includes working with mental health organizations and chemical dependency patients, acute care, HIV clinics, cholesterol and hypertension management, and pain management among others.

Outside of the Practice

When Dr. Brenna isn’t helping patients in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and rescue dogs. She also loves to work on arts and craft projects, and is constantly starting new, creative adventures.

Vicki, Chiropractic Assistant

Vicki became part of the Calcara Team in July 2019. She moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2018 from Southern California. Prior to her move, she worked for California Lutheran University as the administrative assistant for Undergraduate Program in Business. Vicki has her certification from American Association of Christian Counselors and enjoys providing spiritual support for others. She’s married, has three children, three grandkids, and spends her time with family and exploring all things new in Washington.

She became active in chiropractic years ago after being involved in a serious accident. After three months of therapy with an orthopedic, there wasn’t much improvement. Being unable to continue the type of work she was doing, Vicki accepted a position with a chiropractic office. The doctor noticed right away she was having trouble. Within a couple months of adjustments, she was feeling herself again and has continued chiropractic maintenance care ever since.

Bobby Malm, Chiropractic Assistant

Born and raised in Thurston County (minus time spent in Korea) on base at Madigan, Bobby is a first-generation American whose father emigrated from Denmark when he was a child. Bobby’s mother is a citizen of South Korea. A military brat, Bobby had the opportunity to live in South Korea for over five years when his dad served in the army.

Since before he turned 3, Bobby and his older sister were both raised by their father. “I grew up close with both my dad and sister, and family is the most important thing to me.”

An Introduction to Health & Wellness

Bobby’s first job was working at a multi-million dollar gym. While there, he learned so much about health and wellness. “I got to know the Lacey/Olympia community pretty well and developed an admiration for seeing the growth of each individual who would go there.” Bobby enjoyed the job so much that he ended up staying there for almost five years.

He joined the Aligned Health PC team as a CA in April of 2021. Bobby looks forward to expanding his knowledge about health and wellness through chiropractic care.

Enjoying Volunteering & Time in Nature

Outside the practice, Bobby stays active in various community programs, such as volunteering at local galas/silent auctions to raise awareness and money for HIV/AIDs and other LGTBQ+ related issues and events.

He also loves nature and all things that grow. As a PNW native, Bobby feels most at peace when encompassed by the great outdoors and all its natural splendor!
